KOL FARM

Growing Together
Healing Together

ABOUT KOL FARM

In the heart of Moshav Aviel, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, a unique farm was born – Kol Farm.
It is a space of tranquility, creativity, and personal and group growth. A warm home for groups, for participants in educational, emotional, and therapeutic processes, and for anyone seeking a genuine connection to the land and to themselves.

Working with the soil, alongside the creative process in the motorcycle restoration workshop, serves as a powerful tool for inner connection and personal development.

Just as a motorcycle receives new life through touch, precision, and perseverance – so too does a person discover within themselves new strengths, the ability to repair, create, and grow anew.

At Kol Farm, we view shared creation as a path toward building trust, responsibility, and a deep sense of capability.
It is a place where people, earth, and metal meet – and together they create new life: a place of meaning, renewal, and community.

THE STORY BEHIND KOL FARM

I am Tom Kol – a farmer, creator, and entrepreneur, shaped by earth, metal, and hands-on craftsmanship.
I was born in Kibbutz Yagur and grew up among fields, a metal workshop, and tractors – a world of oil, iron, and a free spirit. That is where my greatest passions were born: agriculture, craftsmanship, and motorcycles.

About fifteen years ago, I arrived at Moshav Aviel, where I founded Kol Farm – a space of life, creativity, and community. This is where I raise my three daughters, who are an inseparable part of the farm and its beating heart.

After long months of reserve duty since October 7th, I witnessed up close the emotional wounds carried by the soldiers returning from Gaza. I realized how essential it is to create a space where we can rebuild ourselves – a place that connects soil, agriculture, creativity, and community, offering quiet, meaning, and a renewed connection to ourselves and the world around us.

At the heart of the farm operates a motorcycle design and restoration workshop, born from an old love for metal and craftsmanship, which has become a powerful tool for healing and personal growth.
Here, at-risk youth and soldiers returning from combat work side by side, finding in metalwork and creation a new path for their lives – a kind of rebirth, both for themselves and for the motorcycles they build.

This is how Kol Farm became a home that connects people, earth, and creativity – a place where metal and soil meet, and together, new life is born.

REBIRTH WORKSHOP

The “Rebirth Workshop” is a transformative, process-based workshop for motorcycle restoration and design, where the hands-on work on the machine mirrors an inner journey of renewal and personal growth.
Just as the motorcycle is taken apart, cleaned, repaired, and rebuilt — participants too go through a process of self-discovery, strengthened capability, and the rebuilding of trust and inner resilience.
The workshop blends technical craftsmanship with deep emotional work. Participants learn how to plan, repair, and build motorcycles — but in practice, they experience precision, persistence, responsibility, collaboration, and learning through action.
The metal, the tools, and the act of creation become a language of healing and self-connection.

Core Principles of the Program

Planning, Building and Execution

Participants undergo a full project cycle — from the initial design to delivering the finished motorcycle to a client.
They learn how to set goals, manage a budget, understand work phases, use professional tools and materials, and collaborate within a team — all while developing technical skills and meeting real-world challenges.

Building Personal Resilience and Emotional Growth
Alongside the physical work runs a guided emotional process.
Every small success enhances the sense of achievement and strengthens self-confidence, responsibility, and emotional resilience.
Participants learn to identify their strengths, persist through difficulty, and experience meaningful change through tangible, hands-on creation.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to transform Kol farm into a home that nurtures, supports, and empowers. We believe in the power of agriculture, craftsmanship, and community to foster growth and personal resilience, and we work to fulfill this vision through everything our farm and surroundings have to offer.

We believe that true healing happens not only through individual therapy but also by belonging to a supportive and inclusive group, where every person has the opportunity to rebuild and strengthen themselves.
